How do I rent a trading bot on the Marketplace?

Renting a bot is easy! Simply go to our Marketplace page and select a trading bot that fits your preferred aims and risk profile. You can either run that bot with paper trading, or proceed directly to live trading by connecting your exchange account.

How do I start creating a trading bot?
With its easy-to-use UI/UX, Trality’s drop-and-drop Rule Builder is perfect for beginners to create, backtest and trade like a professional, while advanced users benefit from the world’s first browser-based Python Bot Code Editor , which comes with a state-of-the-art Python API, numerous packages, a debugger, and end-to-end encryption. At Trality, you currently have two options to create trading bots: You create bots with code using our Trality Code Editor or alternatively, you can build bots with rules using our Trality Rule Builder. Does Trading402 take fees from my trades?

No, Trading402 doesn’t take any fees from your trades.

Is the free plan really FREE?
In a word: YES! There are absolutely no hidden costs, fees, or obligations of any kind. In fact, the free plan is great for beginners who want to easily create, backtest and deploy one trading bot with a limit of €5,000 in trading volume per month. However, you will need to upgrade your plan if you want to create and deploy more bots or if your trading volume exceeds the €5,000 monthly limit. Similarly, renting a bot via the Marketplace also requires a subscription. Check our pricing page for more details.
Does Trading402 support walk forward testing (paper trading)?

Yes, at Trading402 this is accomplished via virtual accounts. In fact, we encourage users to employ these tests and all strategies should actually be validated this way before deploying with real money.

What are the fees for renting a bot on the Marketplace?
As long as you have a paid subscription plan, no other fees are incurred. Each paid plan allows you to rent 1 bot. However, certain bots require more expensive pricing plans, such as bots with a smaller tick interval. Check the pricing page for more details.
How do I publish my own bot to the Marketplace?
Once you have a bot that you are ready to submit, go to the “Monetize” page. Your bot will be visible under “Eligible Bots” if it meets the eligibility criteria. In order to publish the bot, you are required to complete some basic KYC and payment setup to allow you to receive your monthly payout. Finally, you will be asked to provide some descriptive information about your bot so that it will be publicly visible and help you attract more investors! That’s it. You will be notified by email once your bot has been approved and published. We reserve the option to reject submissions if we deem the bot unsuitable for the Marketplace. If your bot is rejected, we will let you know the reason via email. You can then create a new version that addresses these issues and resubmit it to the Marketplace.
What sort of quality control measures do you take for bots on trading402's Marketplace?

All bot creators are carefully vetted by our expert team. In addition, all bots are completely sandboxed and run individually. trading402 only mirrors signals and portfolio distributions depending on the circumstances of the individual investor. Logging, debugging and other functionality are not available for investors. Nobody will ever directly touch a creator’s bot or its underlying code/algorithm.

When I create a bot, is my IP protected?
Absolutely!! Any intellectual property in relation to a creator’s bot shall remain with its creator. Specifically, we oblige ourselves to: Non-disclose any information regarding the details of your bot’s algorithm Non-utilize the bot’s algorithm for any purpose other than for examining the quality of the source code
Is profit guaranteed?
Unfortunately, the only guaranteed things in life are death and taxes. While trading bots confer many advantages for their users, they cannot guarantee profits. The cryptocurrency market is highly volatile and speculative, and any trading activity is ultimately done at your own risk.
